Referencing elements
What is it?
When you want to reuse a section or other element from a page to another, you can copy and “paste reference”. What this will do is make a reference to the object you copied instead of a full copy.
Why would I want to do this?
This allows you to update the original section or element and have it updated everywhere you use it as a reference. Particularly useful for top menu, footer or any element you want to reuse from your template on multiple pages.
💡
You will not be able to edit the element from the reference. You have to open the page where the original element is.
The settings for a reference will have a button to help you navigate directly to the original.
